The district is working closely with MODOT (Missouri Department of Transportation) and the City of Waynesville to widen T Highway and add turn lanes at the entrance to Liberty Elementary. More traffic will be on T during dismissal and arrival times; however, a plan is being developed to minimize the impact. 

As part of the overall design of the traffic flow on the Liberty Elementary campus, approximately 120 vehicles can be accommodated in the parent drop-off/pick-up lanes. This exceeds the number of cars daily at either East or Freedom – both of which have more than 900 students.
