Esguerra named WHS Student of the Month Ethan Esguerra, a senior at Waynesville High School has been named the September 2024 Rotary Student of the Month and was recognized during the Rotary Club of Pulaski County meeting on Sept. 9, 2024. He is the son of John and Beverly Esguerra. His nominator stated: "Ethan is my trustworthy student helper, especially when I have a sub. He is very respectful each day and comes in ready and eager to learn. I can trust that he will always do the right thing and he leads my class by example by asking me daily what is next. Ethan is quiet, but he is a very loyal student. He knows when to respond and when to be quiet and sit back and work." Esguerra has participated in basketball, Student Government Association, Student Leadership and Diversity Committee. He will be a member of the National Honor Society and is in the health sciences program at the Waynesville Career Center. Upon graduation, Esguerra would like to attend Mizzou and major in physical therapy.
