Waynesville to celebrate Military Appreciation Night
Waynesville R-VI will host Military Appreciation Night on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Waynesville High School’s Tiger Stadium.
All Soldiers and Veterans with a military ID will be admitted free to the game.
Activities will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. with Soldiers marching on the track. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. against Neosho.
Tiger Stadium is located at 200 G.W. Lane St. in Waynesville.

HS JV Football Kickoff has been moved to 6 pm on Tuesday Sept. 8th.
Due to forecasted temperatures the following High School Athletic events have been pushed to a later start for Tuesday Sept. 8th-

HS Girls Tennis @ Marshfield 5 pm start Varsity only.

Tiger Pride Night #1: Tech Tools for Families

Waynesville R-VI will host a “Tech Tools" for parents/guardians from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, as part of the district’s Tiger Pride Night sessions this year.
This interactive evening is designed to help families navigate the digital tools that support student learning. Parents and students will receive guidance and hands-on assistance with essential school technology and applications, including ParentSquare, PowerSchool, Canvas, online textbooks and other district resources. This session will help families stay informed, connected and confident in using the technology that supports student success throughout the school year.

EZArrival replaces BusQuest and gives you the same real-time bus tracking, delay notifications and transportation updates.
Best of all, your existing account and settings will work automatically in EZArrival; no new registration or additional setup required!

Get ready to leap, turn, and shine at our 3-day dance camp designed for aspiring young dancers! Hosted by the WHS Varsity Dance Team, this camp will focus on fun and fundamentals — including kicks, jumps, and turn technique. Campers will also learn a special routine to show off their new skills for a special performance on the final day!
Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your technique, this is a great opportunity to dance, build confidence, and be part of the Tiger spirit!

· *Elementary Dance Camp for students in K-6th will be held June 8-10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Waynesville High School (Registration for grades K-6 in the 26-27 school year is now open.)
· *Full Day Soccer Camp for students in grades 5-8 in the 2026-27 school year. June 25-28 from 8 a.m-4 p.m. at Waynesville Middle School (Registration for grades 5-8 opens on June 8.)
· *Elementary Boys & Girls Basketball Camp for students in grades in kindergarten through 6th grades in the 2026-27 school year will be held July 13-15 from 9-10:30 a.m. (K-2) and 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (3-6) at Waynesville High School Registration for grades K-6 opens on June 15)
