Ambulance attends to two sixth graders
An ambulance was called to the Waynesville Sixth Grade Center to examine two students in two separate, unrelated incidents in the afternoon on Monday, Feb. 8.
The first student experienced breathing difficulties. The child’s parent is at the school and will determine if they will seek any further medical treatments.
The second student experienced symptoms of being overheated and an ambulance was summoned. As a precautionary measure, the second student was taken to an area hospital for further examination and treatment.
