City and school partner for search

As part of its ongoing, routine safety measures, the Waynesville R-VI School District invited the City of Waynesville’s Police Department to conduct an unannounced drug dog search at Waynesville Middle School this morning, Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023.

Unless directed to vacate their classroom for a search, students remained in their classroom as the police K9 unit searched the building.
