After visiting with members of the Hope Squad and Spirit Swarm LEAD groups in November, the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Pulaski County class elected to donate to the canned food Drive being sponsored by the WSGC Hope Squad LEAD group. The Leadership class, led by Cecilia Murray, also spoke about the food drive during a radio interview, which was heard by the Knights of Columbus who then made a $200 donation. The Hope Squad at the Waynesville Sixth Grade Center held the food drive for Snack In A Pack. Two Hope Squad members (Kemper Henson and Ericah Njuguna) spoke with the leaders and left such an impression and impact that the leaders returned with food to donate to Snack In A Pack, along with a $216 donation as well. The Chamber said the students inspired them to make this donation to the food drive and Snack In a Pack.
