Mike Freeman of Ed Morse Ford St. Robert presented the Project Teach Award to Tannisha Smith, a fourth grade teacher at Wood Elementary, for her project, “Becoming Entrepreneurs” during the Waynesville R-VI Board of Education meeting on Dec. 12, 2022. Smith’s fourth grade students created paper items to sell and had to determine what price they would need to charge in order to make a profit. Ed Morse provides a $100 stipend to the Teacher of the Quarter through the Project Teach Recognition Program. The program recognizes teachers who have designed creative classroom learning projects.
