Culinary arts center students recognized during Board meeting 

 

Waynesville Career Center culinary arts students were recognized during the Waynesville R-VI Board of Education Meeting on Nov. 14, 2022, for their 7th place finish in the bacon category at the World Food Championships. Under the direction of their instructor Chef John Dye, student team members Head Chef Ryan Henderson, Sous Chef Shaun O’Brien and Saucier Alexis Shea earned a golden ticket during the Route 66 Hogs and Frogs contest on Sept. 25 in the Waynesville City Park, which allowed them to compete in the World Food Championships in Dallas, Texas, on Nov. 12, 2022.
