Atchison named WMS Student of the Month for September
Harley Atchison, an eighth grader at Waynesville Middle School, has been named the Waynesville Middle School Rotary Student of the Month and was honored Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022 at the monthly Rotary Club Meeting.
Atchison, the son of Jeremy and Kayla Atchison, is an outstanding student at WMS. He has a 4.0 grade point average and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Atchison also serves as vice president of the WMS Student Council. He is a dual instrumentalist (trombone and percussion) for the WMS Advanced Band. He represents WMS as a tri-athlete in football, wrestling and baseball. Atchison plans to attend college at the University of Tennessee where he would like to study sports medicine.
