WHS fans should exercise caution

Waynesville High School sports fans should exercise caution when individuals or organizations claim to provide “live streams” of WHS games for a fee or are "free," but require a credit card. All of the local authorized broadcasters are free; you do not need to enter a credit card to access locally produced broadcasts.

Fake broadcast links and accounts often appear on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter claiming to live stream high school sports events. They also will post information in the comment section below legitimate Waynesville R-VI posts. Please note that one of these broadcast links resulted in fraudulent credit card charges.
