WHS softball team to host ribbon cutting on Sept. 6

The Waynesville High School softball team will host a ribbon cutting at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at the WHS softball field, which is located next to Tiger Stadium on the WHS campus. The ribbon cutting is being held to celebrate the new turf field, which expands practice and playing opportunities because of its built-in drainage system. 

Superintendent Hilary Bales will throw out the first pitch. Free cake will be served to fans while supplies last and the concession stand will be open.
