WMS Student Council awarded gold honor and WMS teacher awarded Advisor of the Year
The Waynesville Middle School Student Council has been awarded the Missouri Association of Student Councils Gold Honor Council Award. This award is established to honor those councils that have a comprehensive program in promoting student activities and student leadership. Activities include school service, spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition, and leadership training activities.
Additionally, Kayla Atchison, teacher at Waynesville Middle School, was awarded Middle School Advisor of the Year for the South Central District in recognition of her excellence in leadership. The Missouri Association of Student Councils highlighted her dedication and commitment to student leadership and how it has contributed to the success of Waynesville Middle School students and the positive climate of their school.
