WHS Beta club students take home many awards

Waynesville's Beta students competed in the Beta State Convention in Branson taking home many awards.
 
Waynesville High School winners who qualified for Nationals include:
-Freshman Problem Solving- The team of Serina Chen, Kimora Godwin, and Elaine Wu- 1st place
-French 11th grade- Anna Peterson- 4th place
-Speech- Division II 9th and 10th grade- Kimora Godwin- 2nd place
-Spanish- 11th grade- Emilia Vega- 3rd place
-Social Studies-11th grade- Kinsley Guida- 5th place
-Biomedical 11th grade- Fatima Amjed- 3rd place
-Biomedical 12th grade- Aamna Amjed- 4th place
- Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Tri0- Citlali Arzabala- 4th place and Premier Performer at National Convention. 
 
All students listed above have qualified to attend the National Convention at Louisville, Ken., in June and compete against students from 17 other states.

has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta
promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and
