announced for students in grades 10-12

 

All 9th graders and all new 10th, 11th and 12th graders (to the Waynesville R-VI School District) should register for the Aug. 9 Freshman/New Student Transition Day at Waynesville High School by going to

Transition Day is an opportunity for all incoming freshmen and all new students in grades 10-12 who have moved into the Waynesville R-VI School District to tour the high school, meet their mentors and learn school procedures. The deadline to submit the registration form is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5.

 

Limited bus transportation will be provided on Aug. 9. Parents who register their students to attend will receive a link to bus route information on or before Aug. 8.

A free individually packaged sack lunch will be provided for students.

Parents are asked to register for a virtual parent meeting on Aug. 8h at 10 a.m. or parents can register to attend an in-person meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the WHS Auditorium.
