Fimpel Named WHS Student of the Month
Trent Fimpel, a junior at Waynesville High School, has been named the student of the month for October 2021. Fimpel was nominated for representing the word “respsonsibility” by multiple teachers. “Trent is a young man that I have as a part of my American Government classes this year,” said Matt Johnson, social studies teacher. “Trent is a very bright young man who takes his classwork and grade very seriously. Trent is always responsible to complete and turn in his work. Though it seems that history and government come very naturally to Trent, I can always count on Trent to participate in class discussion and I love that he is always seeking a deeper level of understanding, not just trying to get an answer and move on. I appreciate his hard work and dedication and am excited to see the successes that I know he will have this year.”
Fimpel has participated in soccer, football and French Club. His favorite classes are French and math. He plans on attending college upon graduation, however he is not sure of what he may want to do as a career.
His parents are Tabbatha and Chris Fimpel.
