Waynesville R-VI students to receive free school supplies
The Waynesville R-VI School District will provide many school supplies for free for its students at the start of the school year through ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) funds.
“This one-time opportunity is being made possible by funds that have been provided to the school district because of stimulus funds,” said Dr. Brian Henry, superintendent. “We know that COVID-19 has had an impact on our families and we hope these free school supplies help get every student off to a great start for the 2021-2022 school year.”
Waynesville R-VI students will need backpacks and may need other school supplies in addition to the free ones.
