Wood Elementary students learn about how organisms adapt and survive
At Wood Elementary, students attending summer school are learning about how organisms adapt and survive in their environments. Clarabelle Boadai used coffee filters and coffee to learn how fish use gills to breathe underwater. Ezra Marshall learned how penguins wax-coated feathers help them stay dry and Paisley Thar learned how a big octopus can fit through a small cave to hide from predators.
