Public Notice for Input on Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan (SRCSP)

The Waynesville R-VI School District is seeking input from the following individuals regarding the Pandemic Opening Guide/SRCSP plan from students; families; school and district administration;  special education administrators; teachers; principals; school leaders; other educators; school staff; unions; civil rights organizations to include disability rights organizations; and stakeholders representing the interests of children with;  disabilities, English learners, children experiencing homelessness, children and youth in foster care, migratory students, children who are incarcerated, and other underserved students. 

Please note that the district will not respond to public comment provided below; however, this information will be provided to the Waynesville School District Board of Education. Public comment provided through the link will be received beginning 8:00 am on June 21, 2021, through July 7, 2021, at 4:00 pm.

Continuity of Services for students that are out of school due to COVID-19 will be given through virtual homebound instruction, organized by the Student Services and Special Services Office. Please contact Mrs. Courtney Long at 573-842-2092.

The Pandemic Guide/SRCSP will be reviewed and revised, if necessary, no less than every six months. The Pandemic Guide/ SRCSP can be made available in other languages, by contacting Mrs. Hilary Bales in the Personnel Services Office at 573-842-2094.
