WHS boys take first in track and field at SBU and WHS meets

On April 26, the Waynesville High School boys team won the 7th Annual SBU Large School Invitational in Bolivar.  The meet included 19 Class 4-5 schools from around the state.

Boys scored 101 points to win over 2nd Place Webb City with 92 points.

“That was a big team win for us,” said Coach Mike Rawlings.  “Justin Knight’s 1st place in the long jump was the only first place for us and to get to 101 points meant that the entire team contributed to pull out the win.”
