Williams staff and AmeriCorps members receive praise
Williams Early Childhood Center and AmeriCorps received praise during their Super Session on Dec. 11 from Dr. Brian Henry, superintendent. They were praised for having a positive can-do attitude and being so focused this fall on making a positive difference in the lives of students.
In addition, he praised Williams staff members for helping students reach their learning standards. Efforts are paying off, especially with the priority standard “personal information,” which is a difficult standard to teach because it has to be individualized for each child. While rote counting continues to be a challenging standard, many of the students are already mastering 13, 14 and 15.
