Connecting students in different parts of the state

Candace Decker’s 2nd graders at Thayer Elementary joined a Zoom session with her sister, Mrs. Connelly’s students, who are attending school virtually in St. Louis. Their mother also joined the session to read the book “Santa Bruce” to the two classes. The students loved seeing other 2nd graders and talking about the upcoming break.
