Dunz named WMS Student of Month

Andre Dunz, an eighth grader at Waynesville Middle School, has been named the Waynesville Middle School Rotary Student of the Month and was honored Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at the monthly Rotary Club meeting.

Dunz, the son of Lexy Nguyen and Jared Dunz, is an outstanding student at WMS. Dunz has a 3.5 GPA and his teachers describe him as a passionate reader, problem-solver and someone who does not shy away from a challenge. Dunz plays flute for the WMS Advanced Band and is taking high school Spanish. Dunz plans to study computer science and enter the field of computer engineering.
