Waynesville’s JROTC finishes 1st in

armed regulation and armed exhibition solo

 

In their first competition of the 2020-21 school year, Waynesville’s JROTC Drill Team brought home hardware to add to their trophy case from the 18th annual Ozark Inter-service Drill Competition.  

 

Waynesville’s team finished as follows:

 

-       Armed Regulation Team, led by Catalina Ortega, finished 1st overall

-       Victor Peralta finished 1st overall in Armed Exhibition Solo

-       New Cadet Armed Regulation Team, led by Zach Remedies, finished 2nd overall

-       Chloe Olmstead and Haven Royal finished 3rd overall in Unarmed Dual Exhibition.

-       Victor Peralta and Roberto Arzabala finished 3rd overall in Armed Dual Exhibition

-       Niamh Gallagher finished 4th overall in the Individual Drill Down (IDD), and Emilee Johnson finished 8th overall.

 

The 6th Annual Waynesville (Missouri) Drill competition will take place on Jan. 23, 2021, at Waynesville Hight School.

 

The drill team will next compete at Joplin on Feb. 6, 2021.
