1st graders "dash" through the hallways with thankful balloons

Natosha Hulett and Casey Hernandez's 1st grade students at Freedom Elementary met in the library for an interactive Thanksgiving learning experience using the Dash robots. Jennifer Henson, library media specialist, began the lesson by reading "Balloons over Broadway" by Melissa Sweet, about the history of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. The first grade students tied a thankful balloon on the robot and used the iPads to code Dash to participate in the "Thankful Parade."
