Coding Club to begin for 7th and 8th graders
A free after-school Coding Club will be held on Mondays for 7th and 8th graders attending seated classes in the Waynesville R-VI School District. The Coding Club meets after school until 5 p.m. on Mondays, beginning Monday, Nov. 2, 2020.
This opportunity is provided through Project EDGE, which is funded by a DoDEA Grant. Parents must complete an application for a student to join the middle school coding club. Parents of 7th/8th grade students can choose to pick up their students following the club meetings or have their student ride the WIN activity bus home.
Regardless if students plan on riding the activity bus home or will be picked up, parents must complete:
1) the registration for Coding Club form at https://forms.gle/
2) the WIN enrollment form at https://forms.gle/
3) Sign up on the weekly WIN sign-up form that is posted in Canvas.
Snacks are provided for students who stay after school. Registration for Coding Club is open now and will continue to be available until 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020. Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
