Wood Elementary student inadvertently pulls fire alarm

A Wood Elementary student inadvertently pulled the fire alarm at approximately 3:15 today, Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, just as students were preparing for the end of the day.

“There was no fire and there was no smoke; this was a false alarm,” said Billy Cobb, executive director of operational services. “Staff immediately identified the issue so students did not evacuate.  The Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department did respond to confirm the false alarm.”
