Mayor Hardman presents proclamation to Graves
Waynesville Mayor Luge Hardman presented a proclamation to Phyllis Graves, an instructor for the past 28 years at the Waynesville Career Center’s School of Practical Nursing on Monday, June 15, 2020. Graves is retiring at the end of this month and specialized in teaching IV therapy, fundamentals, geriatric nursing and maternal child nursing.
“She has devoted herself to countless men and women who have followed in her footsteps, instructing and teaching them the skills needed in order to save lives and offer comfort and care when needed,” Hardman said.
Graves graduated from the WCC’s School of Practical Nursing, and then earned her RN from the Burge School of Nursing in Springfield and BSN from Drury University.
