2 WHS students win writing contest winners

2 WHS students win writing contest 

Two Waynesville High School students have been named winners in the writing contest for National Library Week/Military Child Week festivities. The following students won Kindles for the following submissions:

•  Rose Cherico, 9th grader won with her poetry submission discussing the book “Inside Out and Back Again” by Thanhha Lai.

•  Cossette Sutterly, 11th grader won with her essay submission discussing the book “Secret Life of Bees” by Sue Monk Kidd.
