In addition, the district will offer free meals from school buses that will serve as remote locations in the community; those locations will be announced later.
This temporary program is being made possible through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and in partnership with OPAA! These meals will include all five food groups and milk, per accordance to state guidelines. Eligible disabled adults** over age 18 may also receive free meals.
The district has received a special waiver to implement the SFSP during this closure; however, all meals will be “grab and go” to eliminate large groups of people in one area. All are asked to practice social distancing.
