State Rep. Steve Lynch presents House Resolution to Valedictorian and Salutatorian

State Rep. Steve Lynch presented the Waynesville High School Valedictorian Anna Hilburgh and Salutatorian Evan Nitchman each with a House Resolution on June 19, 2020, at WHS.

 

Hilburgh is a member of the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society and National English Honor Society. She volunteered 100+ hours over her high school career for NHS and the iCan Bike Camp for disabled bikers. She is a Missouri 100 Scholar, a National Merit Finalist, the girls varsity swim team co-captain at WHS and an AP Scholar with Distinction. Last summer, she attend MIT’s Beaver Works Summer Program in Assistive Technology and won a team leadership award at the SAME/Army Engineering Camp. She is the daughter of Col. Adam Hilburgh and Kay Hilburgh and this is the seventh school district she has attended. Hilburgh is pictured with Lynch, her brother Mason, sister Sarah and parents.

 

Nitchman is a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar and has completed multiple AP and dual credit courses. In addition, he participated in four years of cross country and one year of field and track and works at Walmart. He plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he has received the Curators Scholars Award. He is the son of Todd and Jill Nitchman and is pictured with Lynch, his parents and his sister Jordan Nitchman.
