WCC names October Students of the Month
The Waynesville Career Center has named its October Students of the Month.
Grace Hand, above left, is a senior from Richland who is in the health science class and was nominated by Joni Milligan. Milligan shared, “Grace always comes to class prepared, is always engaged, uses her class time appropriately, always turns her assignments in on time and most importantly she is always helpful and kind to her classmates. I have witnessed her on several occasions stop what she is working on to help another student who had a question. On field day she even purchased some food items for another student at the concessions stand who did not have any money. I know without a doubt Grace will be successful in any career path she decides on and I feel very blessed to have such a great student in Health Science. “
John Zollman, above right, is a junior from Dixon who is in the welding and manufacturing class. He was nominated by Adam Rodden, who shared, “John is extremely motivated to succeed in the welding field. He comes in prepared and excited every day; he wants to learn everything that I can teach him and more. He strives to be the best in my class and has the work ethic to make it happen. I look forward every day to see what he accomplishes in class. He is truly an outstanding student.”
