WHS named in top 10%
U.S. News & World Report ranks WHS in top of Missouri high schools
Waynesville High School has been named in the top 10 percent of all high schools in Missouri by U.S. News and World Report rankings. While the rankings were released in April, banners and plaques are just now available for districts earning the honor.
The rankings are based on how many students took at least one AP exam, passed at least one AP exam, the mathematics proficiency of students and graduation rate.
There are 584 public and charter high schools in the state of Missouri.
