Freedom Elementary students participated in a Patriot Day remembrance event, honoring first responders and their partners in education (PIE partners), on Sept. 11. Students sang “This Land is Your Land,” and presented small tokens of appreciation to police, fire and ambulance personnel and U.S. Navy Detachment PIE partners.
