Torrey McCall, an eighth grader at Waynesville Middle School, has been named the Waynesville Middle School Rotary Student of the Month and was honored Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at the monthly Rotary Club Meeting.
McCall is the daughter of James and Kymberly McCall and is an outstanding student at WMDS. She received “A/B” Honor Roll her 7th grade year and was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. McCall serves as secretary for National Junior Honor Society and holds a 3.8 GPA. She plays clarinet for WMDS Advanced Band and is also playing her second year of volleyball for WMDS. She also serves as historian for WMDS Student Government Association. McCall plans to attend the University of Missouri as she pursues a career in optometry.
