East Elementary won the Spirit Award during the lip sync competition at Convocation on Aug. 7 with their rendition of “The Greatest Showman.” All schools and the Transportation Department participated in the competition at Waynesville High School and Waynesville R-VI Board of Education members served as the judges for the competition.
