Free after-school robotics and coding clubs at Waynesville Schools
Free after-school robotics and coding clubs will be offered starting this fall at Waynesville R-VI Schools through Project EDGE, thanks to a DoDEA Grant.
Robotics will be either recreational or competitive and will typically meet two to three days each week with increased meeting times for competitors as the semester continues. Coding clubs are not competitive and will typically meet twice each week.
Parents of Waynesville R-VI students who have a child who is interested in joining a robotics or coding club, must complete an online application. Seating is limited and admittance will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students in grades 7-12 may ride the after-school activities bus home, but parents of students in grades 3-6 will need to pick up their students following the club meetings.
Registration for Robotics and Coding Clubs will be open from 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2019. Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
