The Waynesville JROTC Tiger Battalion hosted its fifth annual drill competition with Army, Air Force and Marine JROTC teams competing on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The meet featured 23 teams from 18 high schools in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Indiana.
“The event went extremely well due to the great support of the many agencies and people that supported us,” said Col. (Ret) Charles Williams, JROTC senior Army instructor.
The judges were drill sergeants and Joint Service instructors from Fort Leonard Wood.
CSM James Breckenridge, Command Sergeant Major, Maneuver Support Center and Fort Leonard Wood, was on hand for the awards ceremony to make comments and hand out the trophies to the winning teams.
The overall event champion was Ozark Missouri High School.
