During summer school, students attend the grade they will be enrolled in during the 2019-20 School Year.

Summer School will be held June 3 – June 28 in the Waynesville R-VI School District with the following hours in effect:

-        Waynesville High School and Waynesville Middle School: 7:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

-        Sixth Grade Center: 7:25 a.m. – 1:55 p.m.

-        Grades K-5: 7:40 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.

Please note that due to construction at Waynesville Middle School, middle school students will attend the high school for summer school only.

Breakfast and lunch will be offered in all buildings. Free breakfast and free lunch will be served to all students in all buildings except Thayer Elementary, where not enough students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. Students who attend Thayer and qualify for free and reduced lunches will continue to receive their meals at the free or reduced price.

Summer school registration was held earlier in the spring and enrollment for virtual summer courses has closed; however, if you are new to the district or your plans have changed and you would like to enroll your child in summer school at one of the Waynesville R-VI schools, please contact your child’s school. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in summer school, based on availability.
