Administrators serve up lunch to staff and students

Waynesville R-VI administrators helped serve lunch to teachers and students at the Waynesville Sixth Grade Center on Monday, May 6, kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week and recognizing students who had earned rewards for MAP testing. In addition to having administrators helping serve them in the cafeteria at lunch, students who were prepared for their MAP tests received extra turf time on Slaughter Field.

District administrators who participated in serving included Dr. Brian Henry, superintendent; Hilary Bales, assistant superintendent of personnel services; and Dr. Trish Adkins, assistant superintendent of instructional services.

WSGC Principal Jamie Goforth’s husband Jamie Goforth and her father-in-law Bobby North grilled the hamburgers and hot dogs in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10. OPAA! Food Management provided the hamburgers and hot dogs.
