Quilt made from child's artwork

Angelina Smith, a 2nd grade student at Thayer Elementary, along with her mother, Maj. Mary Smith, and art teacher Debbie Akery display the quilt made of original artwork by Angelina. Angelina's grandmother who lives in Spokane, Wash., made the quilt from squares featuring images of Angelina's artwork since kindergarten. They were ordered from Artsonia.com and carefully stitched into a beautiful quilt that will be cherished for many years to come. Given the school’s military population, Akery posts student artwork in Artsonia so that family members can view their art portfolios worldwide.
