    SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS

    Several sports camps will be held for elementary and middle school students this summer. Please check out the ones that are available at https://www.waynesville.k12.mo.us/Page/10332.

    PROOF OF RESIDENCE

    All students who plan to remain enrolled in the Waynesville R-VI School District will need their parents/guardians to provide proof of residence prior to the start of the 2019-20 school year to comply with Missouri law.

    Any one of the following in the name of the parent/guardian is an acceptable proof of 
    residence document:

         i. Property tax statement
        ii. Utility bill/agreement
       iii. Real estate contract
       iv. Rental agreement/receipt
        v. Military housing contract

    Parents who have not already done so may turn in their proof of residence from 4 to 5 p.m. today (Friday, May 31) in the Lecture Hall at Waynesville High School, email proof of residence to residence@waynesville.k12.mo.us by Aug. 1, 2019, or mail it by Aug. 1 to Waynesville R-VI Student Services, 200 Fleetwood Dr., Waynesville, MO 65583.

    SUMMER SCHOOL

    Summer School begins Monday, June 3, and ends Friday, June 28, 2019.

    In the Waynesville R-VI School District, students attend the grade they will be ENTERING this fall. 

    Summer school is free and limited bus transportation is provided at no cost to families. An updated list of summer bus routes is at https://www.waynesville.k12.mo.us/Page/4417.

    Please note that middle school students (grades 7 and 8) will be attending Waynesville High School for summer school only, due to anticipated construction activity.

    ATTN: PARENTS OF 8TH AND 12TH GRADERS

    Missouri law requires students entering the 8th grade and entering the 12th grade to have a Meningococcal vaccine prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year, unless the student is exempted.

    For high school seniors, students who had their first Meningococcal vaccine before the age of 16 will need a second dose. Students who received the vaccine after the age of 16 will only need one dose for high school.

    Students may receive the immunization at:

        -       their regular doctor’s office

        -       School Based Health Clinic at East Elementary-

                 Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m.- noon and 1 - 4:30 p.m.

                 for anyone with Tricare

    Students/guardians may provide updated immunization records for both WMDS and WHS students during June by giving them to the WHS school nurse, emailing them to hkinsley@waynesville.k12.mo.us or faxing them to 573-433-2924, ATTN- Nurse Kinsley.

    Waynesville High School graduated 358 students on Friday, May 17, 2019, in Tiger Stadium.
