Mrs. Ana Lozano
Hello! My name is Ana Lozano and I will be guiding your students through their internship in PLTW (Project Lead The Way) Classes: Medical Detectives and/or Automation & Robotics.
I have a passion for innovation (I've lived through a few decades) and a committment to foster creativity and individuality, while creating the transportable skills necessary in our ever-changing society.
I hold a BS in Organismal Biology from University of Kansas (Rock Chalk) and an M.Ed. in Middle School Science. I married my high school sweetheart, Johnny, and eventually the military brought us here. We liked it so much...you knowww...we made it our permanent duty and our two daughters graduated from Waynesville. I have been teaching in the Middle School since 2008. I've taught 7th and 8th grade science here, but have spiced it up with PLTW!
I look forward to meeting our newest interns, introducing them to the dynamic curriculum that equips them with hands-on, real-world experiences, and challenging them as they collaboratively apply critical thinking while expanding their curiosity.
