Mrs. Kristin Dye

My name is Kristin Dye. I am so glad to be joined in the classroom by two outstanding paraprofessionals:  Mrs. Pam Miller and Mr. Jeff Skaggs.  Both are compassionate, creative, and hard-working educators that bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom!

I've worked in the district since 2002 and have been a paraprofessional, a special education teacher, and a special education process coordinator.  I am originally from a suburb of Kansas City, and love to visit my family and friends there as often as I can.  I love sports and am a huge fan of the Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals.  When I'm not working, I love to read, watch movies, and travel.

My husband, Jon, is a graduate of WHS and teaches Culinary Arts at Waynesville Career Center. Our son is in fifth grade at Freedom Elementary. We also have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter.  Our children will be 5th generation Waynesville High School graduates!  We have 2 dogs and love going for walks, watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending time together as a family.

I love teaching and am looking forward to a wonderful, productive, and fun-filled year! I value communication with parents and welcome phone calls and emails any time!
