Hello to my kindergarten families! My name is Teresa Vogtman and I am so excited to be your kindergarten teacher for the school year.

I have been at East Elementary since 2011 but I have been a teacher since 2000.   I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from York College in York, Nebraska and with my Master’s Degree from Lesley University.  I love school myself and cannot wait to pass that passion on to you!

I was born in Tacoma, WA and moved to Missouri in 2010 with my family. My husband Scott is retired and loves to make things with all his tools. We have 2 children.  Our daughter, Maegan, is married and currently working on her degree.  Our son Matthew is an 11th grader, plays golf for the Waynesville High School team and wants (at the moment) to be a welder.  We also have a 5 year old granddaughter named Emma Grace who starts kindergarten this year as well!!

When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do in class… I love reading, watching movies, and dreaming about our next Disney vacation!
