Mrs. Pamela Mendez

My name is Pamela Mendez. I grew up in Crocker, MO where I graduated from high school. I graduated in 2009 from Westminster College in Fulton, MO with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University. I also have a Special Reading Certificate through DESE and Missouri State University. I live in Crocker with my husband and our three sons, Luke, Levi, and Noah.

I have been teaching since 2009. I have previously taught fourth grade, kindergarten, and first grade. I am currently a reading specialist. I will work with classroom teachers to help support and develop students' reading and literacy skills. Students will meet with me in small groups for 30 minutes each day. I will use research-based interventions and lessons and activities will be targeted to individual student needs. My main goal is to create a caring and comfortable environment that will instill students with a love of learning and reading. I look forward to helping your child on their journey towards motivation and success.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to learn about ways to support reading at home.  I can be reached my e-mail at pmendez@waynesville.k12.mo.us or by phone 573-842-2150.
