Welcome to 5th Grade!!!

I am Mrs. McQueen and I am one of your child's 5th grade teachers. This year will be an exciting year of growth for your child. I love teaching and want to inspire your child to love learning. I will do this through carefully crafted activities that use technology, hands-on methods, and cooperative learning.

My philosophy embraces our school motto: Kids Come First at Thayer. Through a partnership with you, the parent, every child can experience success.
