Mrs. Michelle Jones

Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten at Partridge.

I began teaching in 2000 as my second career. I have taught both first grade and kindergarten over the years, which are very important years for children. This is an important time of learning for your child and a time in which much growth is demonstrated. It is my intention to help students understand the importance of being lifelong learners and how what they learn in Kindergarten contributes to their being successful citizens in society. It is also my intention to implement a great deal of student interaction and collaboration, because research has shown that students learn a great deal from each other through communication. Children will also learn how to utilize the 7 habits of happy kids to become leaders and take responsibility for their actions. I believe our class is a family and we need to learn about each other, respect and accept our differences, have fun together, and build relationships with each other.

I am happily married and I have 2 adult step-children and one adult son who all have their own careers now, of which I am very proud. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs and camping as often as possible.
