Welcome to our Library Media Center!

 

Thayer's Library Media Center is designed to meet the educational needs of our students and staff.  

There are three main areas in our Library:  the classroom area, the story pit, and the creative commons.

 

Your student will have the opportunity to visit the Library on a regular basis to checkout books.  In addition to checking out books, students will have Library lessons that are collaboratively planned by the Classroom Teacher and Library Media Specialist. 

 

The Library Media Center supports reading through the following programs: Love of Reading Campaign, Show Me Readers' Award program, Mark Twain Readers' Award program, and Accelerated Reader.
