Ms. Mikaela O'Barr

Hey all! I'm Mikaela O'Barr and this will be my first year teaching at Waynesville High School.

I was a military brat and graduated from Waynesville High School after having moved to Fort Leonard Wood three separate times. After getting my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering at the University of Missouri, I moved to New Orleans to pursue a Master's Degree. Through an unexpected turn of events, I found myself back in Waynesville and made the decision to change course.

This year, I will be teaching Geometry and Algebra 1A and serving as an Assistant Coach for Speech and Debate. I have grown excited to be back in the community that helped raise me, and I hope that you all can be proud of the community that you are apart of here as well.
