Ms. Angie Crane

I am excited to be a new teacher at Waynesville High School for the 2023-2024 school year.  As a military spouse, I have lived and taught in many places around the world. My teaching experience dates back to 2002 and includes all grades K-12 in a variety of educational settings. 

I grew up in a tiny community in Louisiana, and wanting to have a new adventure, I moved to the greater Los Angles area for college.  I received my BA in English with an emphasis in Journalism from Pepperdine University and my Masters in Education at McNeese State University.  

My family includes my husband, who is active duty Army, stationed here at Ft. Leonard Wood, and my son, who will be starting Indiana University, Bloomington this fall.  I also have a nine-year-old bunny named Mitten who loves to eat popcorn and watch TV with me.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling.  My friends describe me as a very calm person who loves to laugh!  I look forward to meeting each of you this year, and I encourage you to never be afraid to ask me a question or reach out with a concern.
